We currently have an opening for a Level 2 coach to host training for our three senior NYNAL squads on Mondays at 7.45pm-9pm. This position can be supported by our coaching lead or run independently.
SNC fosters a friendly and welcoming environment with a strong coaching team ready to support successful applicants in their new role.
This is a paid position in line with England Netball rates at £24p/h. Any expenses related to the role i.e. DBS checks, first aid certification, any CPD courses etc., will be covered by SNC.
INTO OFFICIATING
"The Into Officiating Course is the first step on the officiating pathway. It will help you to understand the basic rules of the game, as well as cover some of the basic positioning and movement required to enable you to ‘whistle well’ whilst being an umpire.
The course is designed for people new to umpiring and new to the rules of the game. The virtual sessions form the first part of the Into Officiating Award with a successful 15 minute practical assessment (organised by your member county) required to gain the full qualification." -England Netball
We strongly encourage our current members, including juniors, to consider enrolling on England Netball umpiring courses and will offer support with both mentoring and fees.
Urgent call for any SNC members or local community members interested in undertaking the EN coaching courses! We desperately need to widen our coaching team and increase the pool of coaches available to draw on when needed.

Following the completion of the course, you will be able to assist our more qualified coaches in delivering aspects of coaching sessions .
We are happy to support both members and non-members who would like to undertake an England Netball coaching course and assist Sherburn Netball Club training sessions. All course costs will be covered by SNC.
There are a number of ways members and parents or guardians can get involved and help support the club.
Community and grassroots sports would simply not exist without volunteers generously giving their time.
